Rain continues lashing the streets of Delhi

Another spell of rain has lashed several parts of Delhi today pulling down temperatures by 2-3 degrees. The rainfall began during peak office hours causing great inconvenience to office goers who had to wade through waterlogged roads and battle traffic snarls.

Rain was reported to be heavy in some parts of the city especially north Delhi, which witnessed water-logging and traffic jams. There were also reports of overflowing drains from different parts of the city.

Meanwhile, this trend of rain is expected to prevail for next 24 hours, which means there are some comfortable days ahead for Delhiites, battling humid conditions for last several days.
