Pleasant weather to continue in central India, temperature expected to rise in Delhi

Thick monsoon clouds can be observed over west Madhya Pradesh, Vidharbha, east Gujarat, Marathwada, Punjab, Haryana and east Arabian sea.

Mostly cloudy skies with some rainy patches are also prevalent over Chhattisgarh, south Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and along west coast. Low to medium clouds can be seen over remaining parts of the country except north east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and parts of West Bengal.

Central part of India will continue to have pleasant weather with temperatures recording 2-6 degrees below normal.

Temperature will also remain below normal by 2-3 degrees over Maharashtra, Telangana and Vidharbha.

In the northeast, temperatures are near normal except for few places where it is above normal by 2-3 degrees including Sub Himalayan West Bengal.

Temperatures in gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand will remain near normal whereas, Bihar and east Uttar Pradesh will witness slightly higher temperatures.

Most part of northwest India will observe marginally low or near normal temperature except east Rajasthan where it is below normal by 2-3 degrees.

Delhi too is witnessing comfortable weather at the moment with temperatures slightly below normal. But it is expected to rise by 1-2 degrees in the next couple of days due to subdued rain.
