Widespread moderate rain is expected over central and east Uttar Pradesh and north east Madhya Pradesh. Heavy to very heavy showers are expected over many places in these states in next 48 hours. It will gradually shift to western part of UP.
Rain may also occur over many places in Western Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Northeastern states.
There will be subdued rain at some places over Uttarakhand, parts of Gujarat, and madhya Maharashtra. Rain over west coast of the country will continue to be widespread.
Meanwhile, scattered rain or thunder showers may occur over Punjab, Jammu&Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Isolated rain is expected over rest parts of the country.
