The withdrawal line of monsoon continues to pass through the western regions of Rajasthan including Ganganagar, Bikaner and Barmer. The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over Jammu & Kashmir and adjoining north Pakistan persists as well. Rajasthan will remain dry due to the formation of an anti-cyclone over the area. Northern plains of the country will also remain practically dry.
The low pressure area over coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining west central Bay of Bengal still persists, bringing light to moderate rain over Maharashtra, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka, north Tamil Nadu and Kerala coast. Rain will reduce over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, while rest of northeastern states will continue to get rain at isolated places.
