Delhi receives widespread rain

As predicted earlier, widespread rain was witnessed in Delhi today that pulled down temperatures by 4-5 degrees and provided relief from the humid conditions prevailing in the city. This spell of rain is expected to continue in intervals for next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, waterlogging and traffic jams were reported from several areas in the city today. Low lying areas were the worst affected as flooding caused water to enter the houses here.
