Vipassana meditation; this term sounds like therapy in itself. Isn't it? Let's proceed further to know more about what exactly it means? Vipassana is one of the pali-originated words known for its ample key aspects and proven life-changing tool for some individuals. Special seeing or we can say clear insight is what we achieve while practicing vipassana meditation regularly. Earlier, Samatha and Vipassana Meditation combinedly explored the "fundamental nature of mind and body. But now, these terms have been separately well defined and established on their own.
Samatha is devoted to calmness, unification, and the mind's deep concentration. Uniformly Vipassana meditation refers to the insight which enables one to know the true purpose of their soul, mindfulness, and how to deal with your thoughts from which you are struggling. Therefore, we can assume Samatha is the process we need to undergo if our goal is to achieve the Vipassana in the future.
WHY ONLY VIPASSANA OVER OTHER MEDIATION TECHNIQUES?
If you are doing any other meditation technique, you are only going through a single process. But, if you are practicing Vipassana meditation, you are achieving muti Buddhism activities that directly help you grow both physically and mentally.
Vipassana uses (Sati) which is mindfulness, and (Samatha) which means calmness of mind; it is developed through practices such as Anapanasati ( mindfulness of breathing).
You can observe your bodily and mental changes throughout the process, which helps you build a connection with your true self.
HEALING WITH VIPASSANA MEDITATION EXPERIENCE
Healing is something that we all are deeply aware of. Once in a while, we all have experienced physical or mental bruises. Physical injury can heal quickly by applying ointment and taking antibiotics. But what will help to heal your inner traumas? How to overcome your fears? Is it impossible to work on, or Are you unable to find the right track to deal with your hitch? So yes, this might be the reason for your struggle that you are still not aware of some Buddhist terms that will help you flush out your fears, worries, and anxiety and help you find a suitable way out for your day-to-day life challenges.
DISCOVER YOURSELF WHILE PRACTISING VIPASSANA
Discovery is one of those terms we can use positively and negatively but does our worries count as a negative trait? We should not because we all are here while experiencing several ups and downs in life. That's called life. Vipassana Experiences help us to grow. It is impossible to remember only the positive traits of life and remove all the bad happenings. If you are trying to do, so there would be no difference between you and the robot. We are born feelers, and we should not touch that unorthodox side of human beings which is not required.
LET ALL TYPES OF THOUGHT ENTER IN YOUR MIND
When you are doing Vipassana meditation or are thinking of practicing this version of meditation, don't think about the positive side of things. This exercise might incite your deep inner wounds before healing. You must have heard that for cutting the root cause of the disease, you have to discover the right or true source of that problem only after that the actual cure might help. Venom cuts venom, and similarly, you have to welcome those thoughts and show them your strength that you will no longer take this. Let them hit your mind again and again until you don't feel anymore. The intensity of that trauma will decrease with time. Don't think you are weak and might not face this alone.
KNOW THE POWER OF YOUR MIND
Every individual can deal with their issues, but the question arises when to start working on them. Are you truly wanting to overcome or just thinking to do? Your choices make a difference. You are just one step away from having a completely brand new different life. Give importance to those things which are worthy enough. Know the worth of peace. Everything will work in your favor if your mind allows you to do so.
