The 29th Surajkund Mela has been luring thousands of visitors ever since it has opened doors for the public. The fair, which kick started on February 1, showcases a glimpse of culture, custom, tradition and cuisine from the different parts of the country along with international flavor.
The weather, which has a major role in success of the fair, has also played its part perfectly till now. The days are bright and sunny, setting the right pace for the visitors to take a stroll across the fair. Maximum temperatures have been settling around 24°C, which is pleasantly warm.
According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, similar weather conditions will prevail till the weekend, which marks the end of the fifteen days long fair.
Scores of people could be seen tapping to the beats of the enthralling folk dancers, amid authentic fragrances and the rustic flavors of the multicultural India. Several countries across the world, are also participating in event.
The festival will exhibit Chhattisgarh as the theme state this year. The mela exhibits rich and diverse handicrafts, handlooms as well as the cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh.
