Radhanagar Beach in Andaman is 8th best in the world

Radhanagar on the Havelock Island in the Andamans has been ranked 8th Best Beach in the world among the top 10 in TripAdvisor's World's Travelers Choice Award-Winning Beaches. Likewise, the beach has secured the first spot in Asia.

TripAdvisor has honored 343 beaches, including the top 25 in the world and local lists for Africa, Asia, Australia, Caribbean, Central America, Europe, South America, the South Pacific, the UK and the US Award.

Based on the parameters such as quantity and quality of traveler reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor in the past one year, the winners were decided.

It’s wonderful to see an Indian beach making to the top 10 in the world. This shows the stunning beauty of nature that India has to offer and how much this has been loved by travelers from across the globe.

Brazil's Baia do Sancho Fernando de Noronha beach ranked World's best beach. Grace Bay Providenciales in Turks and Caicos, Eagle Beach in Aruba, Cuba's Playa Paraiso Cayo Largo and Siesta Key in United States occupied top 5 positions.

While La Concha Beach in Spain and Playa Norte Isla Mujeres in Mexico stood at 6th and 7th positions respectively. Greece’s Elafonissi Beach and Ecuador’s Galapagos Beach at 9th and 10th.

Two Indian Beaches were featured in Asia's top 10 lists. Radhanagar was ranked No.1, while Agonda Beach in Goa secured the 5th Position.

White Beach in Philippines ranked No.2 in the Asia list, followed by Ngapali Beach in Myanmar, Nai Harn Beach in Phuket, Thailand.
