We all know that sitting all day at work is hazardous to your health. But how many of you have made any efforts to do something about it. Haven’t you always wanted to practice yoga, but you haven’t had the time of course. Don’t worry, we have a solution for you. We bring you five yoga poses you can practice at work.

Cat Cow Stretch

Put your hands on your knees and both your feet flat on the floor. Arch your back and look straight up on the ceiling and inhale. When it’s time to exhale, round your spine and drop your head to your front.

Wrist Stretch

Stand up and rest your hands on your desk. Turn your hands for your wrists to face your desk. Put your fingers at the edge of the desk. Now, with the support of your wrists, lean forward and flatten your palms if you feel any pain, leave immediately.

Neck Rolls

If you wear high heels to work, before beginning this pose, take off your footwear. Close your eyes and drop your chin to your chest. Circle your neck, starting from the right. Keep circling till you reach your original position. Keep your shoulders at ease. Do it in the counter clock direction as well.

Eagle Arms

Bring both your arms forward and cross your right arm to your left so that both your palms touch each other. Now lift your elbows, but here you need to ensure that your shoulders are sliding towards your back. Now do the same thing putting your left arm over the right.

Seated Forward Bend

Firstly, push your chair a little away from your desk and put your feet flat on the floor. Put both your hands behind your back, and interlock them. Now straighten your arms and bend. Rest your upper body on your legs and then release.
