The festival of colors is right around the corner and as exciting as it may sound, your hair will be the biggest sufferer. You will spend days trying to get the color out and the frizz will take eons to go away. The Bura na Mano Holi hai tagline makes everyone put colors on you like there ain’t going to be a Holi next year.

However, the fun and fervor of Holi makes everyone a part of it, and if you are afraid of your hair bearing the brunt, we have it covered for you. Check out some easy peasy tips to have great hair even after all those holi colours on you:

Cover Your Hair

If you need to make sure that the Holi colors do not seep into your head, go ahead and cover your hair with a scarf, a bandana or anything fashionable to make you look good and protect your hair, both at the same time. (Image Credit: imvoyager.com)

Hair Cut

Well, to make sure that those split ends that have been haunting you do not magnify after you play, get rid of them. Get a hair cut, which makes you look like a diva and the synthetic colours will not get you split ends. (Image Credit: indiatvnews.com)

Oil Up

Before you head out to play Holi, make sure you oil up your hair enough so that colour does not enter into your hair, along with which it stops breakage after the synthetic treatment your hair gets. Make sure you use coconut or olive oil while massaging your hair. (Image Credit: dailyexcelsior.com)

Use a hair Mask/Conditioner

Make sure you condition your hair before and after your hair gets the colored treatment. After Holi, try putting some hair mask for at least a couple of days after Holi so that your hair is not as damaged. (Image Credit: mydaala.com)
