Apart from these isolated rainfalls, the Met Department has announced the overall rainfall prediction in India during August-September 2023 talking about the likeliness of India receiving average rainfalls during the rest of the monsoon that happens during August-September 2023. This was encountered after India faced flood-like situations, harming the life and property of thousands of lives due to the rainfall that occurred in the month of June.
Additionally, the department spoke about the El Nino phenomenon concerning Indian weather. The report stated that the El Nino occurrence is unlikely to happen or even impact the Indian monsoon in the second part.
