Delhiites, Treat Your Palates at the 3 day Food Carnival

After a rainy Thursday, Delhi is all geared up to host yet another food festival at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the Grub Fest. The food fiesta is a three day event, which begins today, i.e. on April 3 and will last till Sunday, April 4. This weekend, which is also a long weekend is the perfect time to lure food enthusiasts from all around Delhi to treat their taste buds.

The Grub Fest is the brainchild of Mani Singh Cheema, Chaitanya Mathur and two others. 50 restaurants from all over the city will serve food through not just food stalls but also via food trucks and carts. Weather-wise, rain may dampen the spirits today, during late evening but after tomorrow afternoon, the day is expected to be dry and people can enjoy the toothsome food in a pleasantly cool weather.

This event will give a lot of restaurants the opportunity to let people try out their food items and build new customers. While some restaurants will serve food at food stalls, other restaurants like the Lalit plan to display their food trucks at the food carnival.

Some of the participating restaurants at the food fest include Warehouse Café, Karim’s, OTB, Costa Coffee, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Shiv Sagar, Epicuria, and others. The timings for the event are from 12 pm to 10 pm on all the three days. It’s time to give your taste buds that much needed treat in this pleasant weather.
