The 7th annual Bali Spirit festival began yesterday in the serene cultural town of Ubud in central Bali. In this 5 day festival you are more likely to get built-up rather than burnt-out. It’s not just a global yoga festival but much more than that.

In this relatively new phenomenon, health and wellness presenters from across the world spare all it takes to enlighten the body and soul of participants from more than 50 countries.

Most of the music or cultural festivals are known to drain out all the energy and demand few more weeks to recover from the maddening crowd. But the synergy of global culture in Bali festival will invigorate your senses for months to come.

Weather in Bali

The weather in Bali remains fairly constant throughout the year. The maximum temperature during this festival week will remain in low-thirties while, minimum will hover in mid-twenties. The high humidity levels coupled with the bright sun during day could cause some discomfort but the nights will not be as punishing, according to latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India. Rain during this time is a semi-permanent feature and could be fairly good at times.

Reasons to visit the festival

The incredible line-up of yoga, healing and meditation workshops during the day will energize you to shake your booty all night to the beats of great musicians. While the daytime fairs take place in the Purnati Center for the Arts in Batuan, the music concerts take place at Agung Rai Museum of Arts (ARMA) in Ubud.
