When it's cold outside, the easiest thing to do is to stay inside and hibernate until winter finally bids adieu. Well, the  of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) won't let it happen. If anything will cure your cough and cold, it is street food. NASVI has already prepared a treat for you at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The 6th Grand Street Food Festival from 25th – 28th December (12 pm – 10 am) will definitely bring you out of your hiding place and take you out on a journey of food.

The four-day food festival has invited foodies from all over the city. With over 200 street food stalls from 25 different states the food carnival is offering an amazing culinary delight for the winter season. Right  from Andhra Pradesh's Keema Mutton to Bihar's Chhena Jalebi, the food carnival has it all. Other mouthwatering delicacies include Jodhpur's Pyaaz ki Kachauri, Galauti Kabab from Lucknow, Assam's Tangy Fish Curry, Keema Mutton from Assam and much more.

The festival was inaugurated by the popular celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor, who himself is an avid lover of street food. On all the four days, chefs from various states along with Sanjeev Kapoor are also hosting food demonstrations where they are not only preparing different dishes but also sharing their secret recipes with visitors. Also, chef Kunal Kapoor and Sanjeev Kapoor will be speakers on the street food dialogue. Entry tickets are available online at the NASVI website, otherwise, you can also buy them from the venue itself.

Another major highlight of the food festival is the inauguration of an Android app, Street Saathi. With the help of this app, people will be able to find nearby street food vendors on the basis of the cuisine type, demand and location. This app is the first of its kind to be launched in the country. This will not only make it easier for customers but also give these street food vendors a joint platform.
