Temperatures in Mumbai are once again expected to fluctuate during the next two days. In this period, maximum temperatures are likely to drop by 3 to 5 degrees and the minimum temperatures would also see a gradual rise to 22 degrees making nights warmer than what was experienced during the last few days. Such a drastic change in weather in Mumbai has already taken its toll on residents of this commercial capital and with sea breezes expected to start from tomorrow, humidity will also increase to make life miserable in the Mumbai city. Here are five best ways to avoid the ill-effects of such transition in weather.

  • Keep your house clean
  • Avoid dust and air pollution. Wear a mask when outdoor. Avoid crowded places
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water. Use hand sanitizers in public places
  • Keep yourself hydrated. Avoid cold water
  • Watch your diet. Eating right during lunch and dinner is important to help the body deal with temperature fluctuations and resist infection. Have warm foods during the night and fresh foods during the day. Avoid tea and coffee during the day. They can cause dehydration. Have lots of buttermilk, juices and vegetables. Vitamin C found in oranges helps build immunity against common cold and cough.
