Ranikhet
Ranikhet is a place related with the legends of Himalayas. The name Ranikhet factually means ‘Queen’s meadow’ and is considered to be the residence of Queen Padmini from a local legend. This hill station has literally so much to present to the tourists such as a healthy climate, tall coniferous trees, vast green meadows, tranquil surroundings, perfect peace and warm, open-hearted people. Thus it is an all-season destination.
The weather due to the town’s high altitude and location near the Himalayan Foothills is usually pleasant during summers and can experience snow fall in winters and is best enjoyed from March to October.
