There are movies like Wolf of Wall Street that are comedy drama but there are movies that meant to funthrill its audience. Action, Suspense are such genre that makes it possible. But then again there is one particular movie type that entices the audience a way bit too much. Disaster movies are always big with audiences and are lucrative in terms of box office collections. So here are the top 10 natural disaster movies, ranked in no particular order, that depict the nature’s wrath perfectly.

1. The Day After Tomorrow

2. Into The Storm

Into The Storm stormed in the theaters in 2014. As the name suggests, the movie was about the storms. The plot being same, young teenagers trapped in wild clusters of storms. 3. San Andreas


Last Summer Dwayne Johnson came up with an earthquake movie so entertaining it became one of the highest-grossing movie of the year. Going along the similar lines of Vertical Limit, Everest is one such movie which is less drama and more realistic. This movie came at a time when James Bond was played by Pierce Brosnan and cashing in that the makers made Dante's peak. Dante's Peak hit the theaters in early 1997 and made the movie a sudden hit.
