Winter is at its peak and cold weather with single digit temperature continues to persist in parts of North, Central and East India. The entire belt consisting of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh will continue to shiver. Cold wave conditions have been prevailing in most parts of the plains as minimum temperatures across the region has been settling way below normal for this time of the year.
