Winter is followed by Spring, which is the season of new beginnings. Fresh buds bloom, animals awaken, and the earth seems to come to life again.
Meteorologically, spring is a three-month period based on rising temperatures. And with change in weather pattern comes diseases associated with it.
Allergies: During this season, pollen and dust carried by spring winds result in irritation to eyes, nose and lungs.
Auto Immune Disorders: Auto immune disorders like Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) or episodes of MS relapse are common during this period.
Cancer: During this time and early summers, the detection of Breast cancer is at its peak. On the other hand, men are also diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Ulcer: Generally, patients with peptic ulcer are most likely to develop symptoms in the spring season. The complications of peptic ulcer, such as perforation, hemorrhage or obstruction are dramatic events that clearly state the severity of the disease.
While the weather might seem beautiful right now, it poses several health hazards as well. Thus, one is advised to take all the necessary precautions.
