The brutally cold winter is just around the corner and even before its arrival, it has brought along with it, the Swine Flu terror. While dengue and malaria cases have been reducing day by day, new swine flu cases have come up in the last few days.
As winter makes a grand entrance, these swine flu cases are likely to increase as falling temperatures result in the spreading of the virus. The symptoms of swine flu are fever, cold, cough, breathlessness and body ache. Viral fever has the same symptoms, but it only lasts for about three to four days. On the other hand, swine flu can take as long as a month to get cured.
In Vadodara, six fresh cases of swine flu have come up on Saturday, which is, in fact, the highest number of cases in one day since the beginning of the viral infection in August. Over the last few days, many swine flu cases have been registered, out of which, many have even suffered from damaged lungs.
In Pune, around 12 people are admitted to hospitals and have been tested positive for swine flu. Other 98 people are also undergoing treatment in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra alone, more than 8,000 people have been affected by swine flu this year.
All these patients have been given the Tamiflu medicines and are being treated. As the temperatures are beginning to drop and winter is fast approaching, more cases are likely to come up in the next few days.
