It's 'Transformation Tuesday' again! Have you ever heard people say that if you need to lose weight, drink as much water as you can? Well, that isn't wrong after all. Drinking adequate  amount of water not only helps in boosting your metabolism, but it also cleanses your body of waste, and functions as an appetite suppressant. But, how do you make sure that you drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated? Well, we have the answer!

As mentioned above, water is known to be an appetite suppressant. This means that if you drink a glass or two about half an hour before your meals, you are bound to feel fuller and will eat less food.  Research suggests that drinking water before a meal reduces your calorie intake by up to 75 calories. If you drink water before at least one meal, you will lose about 8 pounds in one year. How about drinking water before every meal?

Another step, which can help you lose weight, is replacing all energy drinks and sodas in your house with water. If you want a twist to your regular water, you can squeeze a lemon slice to it. Try giving up sodas and notice the difference. Also, if you drink enough water every day your joints are lubricated and you do not get muscle cramps, which means you can work out longer than you usually do.

If you drink ice cold water instead of warm water, your body makes the extra effort of warming it up and burns a few extra calories. Also, once you have developed the habit of drinking adequate amount of water, make it a point to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. It will not only help you lose weight but also help you stay in shape. If you can drink more than the aforementioned amount of water, it is even better.

Try drinking as much water as you can and bid adieu to sugary fluids. You can also start drinking coffee instead of herbal tea. Starting this 'Transformation Tuesday', keep a bottle of water with you at all times. Drink enough water and stay slim.
