For some of us, the best way to transform a stressful day into a happy one is a bucket of fried chicken, a bowl of French fries and a big mug of coke. While the menu both sounds and tastes more than perfect, it’s doing your body more harm than good. To be honest, it’s impossible to get rid of that fried food addiction. Don’t fret; we have a long-term solution for you. Check out some simple fried food alternatives for a healthier and happier you.

We all love fried chicken, don’t we? I am sure you are aware of how much oil is used to prepare those sinful delights. Instead of eating fried chicken, switch to your good old tandoori chicken. Not only does it taste delicious, but it is also healthier. After all, you have nothing to lose; you are still eating chicken, right?

A bag full of chips can make anyone’s day. However, the amount of oil these flavoursome fried chips contain is just too harmful to you. If you need something to bite on, how about some air popped popcorns? They are good to taste, healthier than chips and contain no oil. Mind you, do not try to sneak in some butter in your bowl!

While deep fried samosas are a perfect rainy day snack, each one of these delectable devils contains about 350 calories. No, we aren’t asking you to stop eating them, but, some culinary transformation might just make them slightly healthy. So, instead of flour, use wheat flour. Also, rather than deep frying them, air fry them instead. Lastly, you could add in a few vegetables to make the filling a tad bit less unhealthy. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

Anything which is deep fried instantly gets tastier and has much more appeal to it. Deep frying might turn every food item into something exquisite, but your body suffers every time you take a bite into something so unhealthy. Thus, if you crave for something fried, try pan frying it. Not only does pan frying uses way less oil, but it also tastes equally good.

Eggs are the perfect ingredient for a wholesome breakfast. The best part about eggs is that they can be prepared in several ways. However, not all these techniques promote health. Fried eggs and sunny side up might appeal more to you, but, if you wish to lead a healthier life, the best way to eat eggs is by boiling them.
