Food Poisoning
Due to way too much heat, the food tends to get spoilt easily. You eat a day's old food thinking it’s going to be alright but end up with food poisoning. After serving meals at home, make sure that you put the food inside the refrigerator so that it remains fresh. Before you buy milk or other dairy products, check the expiry dates and consume them before the expiration date.
Prickly Heat
The red rashes that occur in one’s body due to excessive heat and humidity are known as prickly heat. Well, if your body shows signs of prickly heat, make sure to have a bath with cold water, pat dry your skin and apply a prickly heat powder on the affected areas. You can also apply corn starch over affected areas to get a much-needed relief from the constant itching.
Sun Burn
Did you not wear a sunscreen before leaving your home? Well, it may not have been a good day for you. Sunburn is nothing but a burn caused on the exposed areas of your skin due to over exposure to ultraviolet rays of the sun. Sunburn further has the capability of causing skin cancer. Make sure you apply ample amount of sun screen 20 minutes before heading out.
Diarrhea
Another common summer disease is Diarrhea. Eating contaminated food and drinking unclean water is one of the main causes of Diarrhea. While you are outside, ensure to carry a bottle of water so that you don’t drink water from unhygienic places. When eating fruits, wash them properly. Before and after cutting vegetables, clean them thoroughly.
