Winters arrive in London, temperatures to dip significantly

Brits’ are advised to keep their winter gear ready for this month as the capital city is expected to witness some really chilly and icy weather. The warm Halloween weather seems to get over for London as cold and harsh winds are moving towards the capital city of U.K.

As per the Meteorological Department, London is likely to witness chilly weather with the temperatures curtailing down to 5°C.

Though Southern England has even relished mild temperatures with the maximums settling at 18°C. However, the cold front is expected to keep moving towards the northern region of the country at a faster rate.

Temperatures are expected to stay at around 11°C during the later part of the week however, mercury may even dip to as low as 1°C on Thursday continuing until Friday night.

Cloudy weather has been observed in the southern region today though this cold front is likely to head towards south thereafter shifting to London overnight.

In fact, as per the weatherman, some snow on higher ground in Scotland is also expected towards the weekend. Though this is just expected for this year and no snow is predicted for the entire city as yet. It can be said the Britain is just experiencing what is called as a traditional November period.

The very first chilly blast along with some widespread snow can be expected during the early time of the month. Furthermore, possibility of plenty of fog and frost cannot be completely ruled out as well.

Moreover, severe weather warning has also been issued for the Brits as they woke to with a foggy weather.
