After a good stretch of cool and wet weather in the United Kingdom, warmer and drier weekend is on the cards.
People who have been rescheduling their outdoor plans will finally have a break to get outside of their homes and enjoy their weekend without the risk of rains.
However, rainfall remains in the forecast for Saturday over Northern Ireland, Northwest England and Scotland. The other regions will only get a brief shower or two.
Mostly dry weather is likely across the Northern parts of U.K. on Sunday with nothing more than a brief shower in Scotland. Sunday is also expected to feature the brightest sun of the weekend.
High temperatures will reach up to 21-22 °C (70-72 °F) in Manchester while temperatures will be 24-27 °C (75-80 °F) in London.
A few of the warmest areas in South East England will witness temperature reaching upto 28°C (82°F) on Sunday.
However, relief will be expected early next week.
Cooler air and showers are expected to reach Belfast and Edinburgh on Monday, before covering Manchester and London on Tuesday. This cooler and rainy weather pattern is likely to grip most of the U.K. for much of the next week.
