Weather Outlook for Europe on January 28

Europe, unlike the United States, which is gearing up for a life threatening blizzard, will remain free from the extreme weather conditions. Most parts of the continent will receive rain while some parts will be bright and sunny on Wednesday. Let's take a broader look at the probable weather conditions on January 28.

North of Spain is expected to be cloudy, the area may receive showers as well. However, rest of Spain along with Portugal will remain bright and sunny. A few showers are expected in the Balearics. Greece is also likely to receive rain. On the other hand, heavy showers are expected in Turkey and Southern Italy on Wednesday.

It may be a cloudy as well as a rainy day for France. The Benelux region, which includes the low countries of Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg along with Germany are expected to receive heavy rain along with high winds. Poland, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland are expected to enjoy fair and bright weather conditions.

Norway and Poland may receive gales and sleet. The Baltic states which include three northern European countries, including Estonia, Lithuania and Estonia are expected to remain cloudy with some sleet. Scotland is likely to be cloudy with passing showers. On Wednesday, United Kingdom may receive the first rain and snow showers accompanied by strong winds.
