All these systems are likely to move in northeast direction during the next 24 hours. In view of this system, light rains have already been witnessed over Baluchistan and North Pakistan. Now, weather models are indicating that these rains are likely to intensify now, both in terms of spread and intensity.

Hilly region of North Pakistan may witness some spells of snowfall along with moderate rainfall. Weathermen are predicting light to moderate rainfall across northern and central parts of the country.

Places such as Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad are likely to see moderate showers for next 24 to 48 hours.

Meanwhile, South Pakistan would witness rains only for the next 24 hours that too will remain light in nature.  Karachi is likely to see light rains at scattered places only.

In wake of these rains, we can expect drop in maximum temperatures, which in turn will bring relief from warm weather prevailing in southern and central regions. However, for northern region will see the onset of winters, with spell of rain and snow in the hilly region.
