Britain to be warmer than Barcelona this Valentines

Britain is expected to be warmer than Southern Spain this Valentine’s Day. Brits will witness higher temperatures than Barcelona. This variation in weather can be attributed to the change in wind pattern from icy westerly to warm southerly winds.

The warm air will blow in from the south replacing the chilly Siberian air that is currently prevailing over the region. The hot Valentine day will end UK cold snap with temperatures expected to reach 13°C.

This weekend Britain has been gripped by a brutal cold snap with freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall in several different parts of the region.

Snowfall was observed as far south as London and Kent but with warm air reaching the region from the South will warm up things for Valentine’s Day.

London and the South East will be warmest, even Scotland is predicted to record 11°C. That is hotter than Barcelona, which is predicted to be around 10°C and Southern Italy’s Sicily, which can expect average highs below 8°C.

This change in weather will be in stark contrast from the bitter cold of this weekend to spring-like weather. Weathermen are expecting the temperature to hit double digits, and also a gradual improvement in weather conditions by the weekend.
