Before you start questioning the existence of alien or Vegeta’s existence, the night skies lit up over Utah due to a Chinese rocket body whizzing across the sky over. People in California have also seen the strange happenings.

The Chinese rocket CZ-7 entered the atmosphere on Wednesday night and stunned a former SpaceX engineer who was among many filming the weird happening.

The initial reports suggested that the streaking or glowing sight was the result of a meteor shower, shooting stars or even aliens. But the strange phenomenon could actually be Space Junk from the Chinese rocket.

This was confirmed by astronomer Jonathan McDowell, who works with Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He said, “The fireball appeared to be made up of debris from a Chinese rocket. The lights came as the second stage of the Chang Zheng 7 rocket burnt up as it made its way into Earth’s atmosphere.”

The rocket was launched into space towards the end of May.
