US fall

The change of seasons may be right around the corner with the start of fall on Thursday; however, the forecasters predict that the United States should expect more of the same weather for now.

This fall, temperatures are likely to continue with the prolonged hot streak that the scientists have attributed to a combination of prevailing weather patterns and the long-term climate change.

According to National Weather Service (NOAA), above-average seasonal temperatures are expected during December in almost every part of the country. Temperatures will hover around average over the Southeast, which is one mere exception. Moreover, highs are likely to swelter over most parts of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado.

The rainfall activity will be around the seasonal average over many parts of the country again barring the South. However, above-average rains are expected over Alaska and Montana.

As per some scientists, 2016 is the warmest year on record, and a warm fall will only further increase the trend of that occurring.
