Unabated torrential rains kill 32 in Morocco

Raging waters of the Tamsourt River swept away many in Morocco after the incessant rains triggered flash floods.

Due to heavy rains in southern Morocco, 32 people have died while 14 are still missing. Hundreds of roads were cut off in the floods.

The popular tourist hub, Marrakesh, was also affected as several people have been left stranded after the flash floods in the area.

Heavy rains in last three days have resulted in flash floods situation in Morocco. However, a break from torrential rains is expected in next 24 hours.
