UK sunny days almost over, chilly weather expecetd to set in soon

Most of the Britain will witness a last glimpse of sunshine this week before temperatures would dip.

As per the Met Office, chilly weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country the next week. Britons can expect a dip in the ongoing temperatures in the approaching week. Hence, this could be termed as the last glimpse of summer weather and sunny skies for the UK.

However, coming week could bring in the thermometers going down to zero degrees as well. The winter's approaching can be well marked as a high-pressure system over Scandinavia said to be holding the weather as it comes off the Atlantic Ocean.

In fact, last night temperatures even scaled down to recording a chilly 2.2°C in Balmoral in Aberdeenshire. Moreover, mercury settled at 3.7°C during the similar time frame in London as well.  However, the capital city is likely to witness 8-9 degrees overnight during the week.

As per the weatherman, snow was also observed in the Cairngorms over the weekend. Moreover, this cold front is also expected to hone in the forthcoming days. Winds could become gustier in the southwest and northern areas as the week progressed.

London even recorded 12°C in the midday wherein the maximum settled at 18°C and a low of 10°C.

As per the forecasters, early November can even brace for several months of snow in the UK. Freezing storms can also make their appearance over parts of UK.
