UK braces for severe weather; snow and rain likely

UK is expected to get lashed by thunder snow which may bring snow up to 20 cm in parts of the country.

After a relief from the rain strikes, people in London can expect some chilly and frosty weather coming towards the city that though would not make the city come to a standstill but will surely create travel chaos for people.

London is at present witnessing mild winters with a very fewer winter chills. However, as per the weather forecasters, very soon, the city will witness very cold chill. People in London are expected to witness some snow and hence are advised to be extra cautious against this weather warning.

As per the Meteorological Department, a band of wintry showers is likely to pass over the city during the weekend. Temperatures are also expected to drop to 4-5°C. In fact, Thursday evening can be bone chilling for London as the temperatures might fall down steadily settling at 0°C.

Scotland and Wales are already affected by the wintry weather and now, the chilly winds are expected to move across the nation. Some areas might also witness a freezing -10°C on Thursday.

Wintry weather has already hit Scotland and Wales and is expected to move across the UK during Thursday with temperatures plummeting to -10°C in areas. Freezing storms bringing in 2-4 inches of snow can also be expected in the UK this Friday.
