The best scenic view for the stargazers of Britain is just a night away when the sky will be ignited with light flashing from shooting stars. These are best expected to be viewed during early morning hours on Friday.
However, this too comes along with a sad news that only a few people will actually be able to see this picturesque view. Mostly people residing in the northern region of England and Scotland will face trouble witnessing the view as it happens.
In order to best catch the spectacular view of these shooting stars, stargazers recommend heading out of the way and looking up.
Astronomers also claim that the outburst of these Perseids will probably be the best after 2009. This means there would be approx. 200 meteors shooting per hour.
It is further recommended that these showers usually occur every year between mid-July and late August. But the annual meteor shower is one of the brightest and most active incidents of the year which is definitely not to be missed.
The meteor showers that one would see this year are from comet flybys that occurred thousands of years ago. Moreover, before entering into the earth’s atmosphere, they have already traveled billions of miles.
Similar conditions are also expected over western U.S. However, Central and northern California coast will be an exception where low clouds and fog across the marine layer will move in from the Pacific and may spoil the view.
Additionally, two low-pressure systems, near Duluth, Minnesota, and near Omaha, Nebraska are more likely to witness showers and scattered thunderstorms. Severe storms across Kansas may also possibly bring in some rains.
However, temperatures are expected to remain stable mostly settling in 50°F to 60°F.
