For those living in the United Arab Emirates, it is time to keep your umbrellas as well as raincoats out as rainy days are likely to continue. Rains were witnessed over many parts on Sunday as well and if weathermen are to be believed, these rainy spells are expected to continue at least until Wednesday.
Both Dubai and Sharjah witnessed some rains on Sunday. Not only this, a spell of rain was also observed today, a few hours ago. Due to this, traffic delays were observed due to wet roads in many areas. Dubai is likely to witness a few spells of rains during the next 24 to 48 hours as well.
The coastal areas in particular are likely to observe strong winds accompanied with a few spells of rains during the next 24 to 48 hours. As per the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, the weather conditions are expected to remain unstable. Not only this, cloudy sky conditions along with thunderstorms will prevail over the region.
The possibility of dust storm due to unstable weather conditions also cannot be ruled out. So much so that weather conditions will remain dusty and reduced visibility is likely as winds as strong as 50 kmph are likely to blow in a few areas.
