U.S. witnessing record breaking heat this July

Entire U.S. is expected to witness soaring temperatures for the next three months. It is foreseen that July will probably create a new record of being the warmest month for the entire nation since 1880.

This would be the first time in history that almost every square inch of the United States would be observing an above average temperatures.

Weather Company also confirms prevailing summer-like temperatures to continue from August to September. All the states would be under the warmer-than-normal conditions, although relief is expected in just the Montana state.

According to weatherman, the warm weather condition prevailing in the 50 states could be attributed to the development of high pressure that sinks in air and prohibit the clouds and rain to form. Thus, this blocking pattern permits building up of high pressure ridges in the upper atmosphere.

Chief meteorologist with the Weather Company, said that these types of blocking patterns during the summer months have been more common in recent years, and it may be related to a sharp decline in Arctic sea ice due to climate change.

However, scientists also found a link between climate change and extreme heat waves that could possibly cause the weather to stay warm over next few months. However, Man-made climate change could also be an affecting factor.
