Temperatures have already plummeted by 10°C due to the heavy downpour on Monday. Torrential rain and thunderstorms are likely throughout Tuesday and may possibly appear on Thursday as well.
In fact, forecasters have said that northern and western parts of the UK will witness some good rains, but southern and eastern areas are expected to be drier and sunnier with temperatures of 23°C.
According to weather experts, Scotland, Northern Ireland and north-western parts of England and Wales is likely to have patchy rain, which will turn heftier in Scotland later.
Tuesday will see more cloud formation across the UK during the day, with a few scattered showers developing in some areas.
While Scotland and Northern Ireland will witness some rains later, Eastern England and the English Channel coast will remain hot and dry.
