Thunderstorms to rescue UK from scorching heat

The woes for the United Kingdom don’t seem to end soon, but any good news has to be cherished a lot. After the ‘Brexit’ fiasco and early EURO Cup exit, UK has been experiencing scorching heat for the past few days. So much so that temperatures on Tuesday made it the hottest day of the year across the United Kingdom. But there is some relief on the cards for UK.

Thunderstorms are approaching from Northwest over the regions will bring relief to many areas. These thunderstorms are supposed to reach on Wednesday.

The areas that are supposed to see the biggest change in temperatures are Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England and Wales. The maximum temperature reached 25°C in Belfast on Tuesday. But around the storm maximum of 20°C is predicted on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Manchester endured 30°C of hot weather but due to the storm the temperatures will not go above 24°C. Chances of few isolated storms are likely around London and in the South East on Wednesday but most of the areas will remain dry and hot.

These thunderstorms are likely to increase the risk of flooding in Wales, Northern England and Scotland.

In the second half of July temperatures are likely to be more typical throughout the United Kingdom around the weekend.
