Northeast United States is set to get cooler temperatures during early days of November. However, temperatures will remain several degrees above average through Monday across mid-Atlantic.
Due to northwesterly winds, drop in temperatures can be observed across most parts of New York and New England, although highs in these areas are expected to be in 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
An area of high pressure is seen over the Ohio River Valley that will keep temperatures around 5 degrees below average in New England.
Temperatures in Boston would not surpass 50 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday and Monday. Across southern and eastern New England, temperatures will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s degrees Fahrenheit during the afternoon.
As high pressure will shift to New England early next week, milder and less windy conditions are anticipated.
Temperatures are expected to jump into the 60 degrees Fahrenheit across southern New England and around 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the southern mid-Atlantic on Tuesday.
In the wake of a cold front, temperatures may get throttled back during middle of the week. Moreover, there are signs that a stronger shot of arctic air will plunge into the Northeast around the start of the next weekend.
