Sydney is expected to witness soaring temperatures as summers are likely to hit the city soon. An early summer splash is likely over next week when the temperatures are also foreseen to soar up to 37°C.

As per the Bureau of Meteorology, the arrival of summers are expected soon when the residents may witness warm bursts along with the first heat stroke. Though similar weather conditions do prevail in the city during spring as well.

Temperatures in the city have been recorded in the lower twenties around this week though mercury is still expected to rise to 24 degrees Celcius on Wednesday further rising to 26 degrees Celcius on Thursday and 27 degrees Celcius on Friday.

Moreover, Penrith and Richmond on Thursday are expected to measure a mounting mercury level settling at around 29°C as well. On the other hand, Campbelltown at the same day can soar up to 28°C.

However, temperatures in the west could swelter even more. By early next week, the West region of the city could reach 37 degrees Celcius.

As per the weatherman, the sudden mounting of temperatures in Sydney can be attributed to a high-pressure system moving from outback Queensland.

Temperatures will, however, witness much of change and are expected to plunge later on Tuesday evening until Wednesday as a bit of cool air still expected to blow over Sydney.

Further, chances of storm and showers making up on Tuesday evening can also be expected. Temperatures could even reach 26 degrees on Saturday and 25 degrees on Sunday.
