Weather is playing notoriously with the Sydneysiders’. A few days back, the weather forecast was that of some good rains and a wet Christmas. However, Christmas day scorcher is yet again foreseen on cards for the city.

The Bureau of Meteorology has prophesied hot temperature across the country, blue clear skies are predicted to continue in the city.

The Meteorological Department further adds that temperatures in Sydney are expected to settle at 28°C and afternoons may also witness some cool north-easterly winds. Melbourne may also get to see soaring temperatures of 30°C.

Though chances of rains in both Sydney and Brisbane cannot be ruled out completely and light showers are slight expectations. However, mostly the weather will remain sunny and cozy.

In fact, Adelaide is also expected to witness extreme heat conditions with temperatures scaling at 37°C. Moreover, Perth is also likely to see soaring 35°C with a few sunny spells as well. Both Darwin and Canberra are likely to witness sunny day on Christmas.

Darwin is expected to see highs of 32°C with a possibility of a storm developing in the afternoon as well. A tropical storm is also expected to reach northwest Australia around the Kimberly region. Though, as per the weatherman, a cyclone is also foreseen to have been developing in the Timor Sea. However, chances are quite unlikely that the cyclone may hit the continent in next few days.

Mercury levels are also expected to stay around 30°C across Australia.
