summer in germany one living in stuttgart1While the temperatures rose this weekend, a stronger surge of warmth will make inroads into Germany by the middle of this week.

There is a high pressure area which is shifting eastwards across central Europe will enable even warmer air to surge into Germany sending the temperatures northwards from Monday to Wednesday.

By the midweek the temperatures will be upto 6°C above normal across much of Germany. Maximums of upto 30°C will be common. The warmth during the midweek will be noticeably higher as to what was predicted. A high of upto 23°C was predicted across northern Germany for Monday. Including Bremen and Hamburg.

The same high pressure will be responsible for temperatures to soar and dry conditions for Germany on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will give people a good opportunity to conduct outdoor activities. People have been advised to apply sun protection cream if they go out for extended period of time.

The initial rise in temperature will be accompanied by low humidity. However, the humidity will rise on Wednesday into Thursday as a storm system closes in.

Sharp showers and thunderstorms will erupt as the storm system collides with the humid air during the end of the week.
