There are several storms raging across the globe. Some of them are:-

Powerful Dujuan hurls towards Taiwan

Dujuan is close to being a super typhoon as it closes in on Taiwan and eventually make landfall in eastern China. The combination of warm waters of Philippine Sea and weak wind shear has enabled Dujuan to strengthen. The people of Taiwan should complete the preparedness for the upcoming typhoon which is set to strike on Monday night. Rain has already started to affect the northern tip of northern Taiwan because of the moisture from the typhoon. On Sunday around 128 mm of rainfall was recorded in the northern tip of the island. Rainfall and wind speed will increase as the typhoon closes in over the region.

Niala to scrape past Hawaii with showers and rough seas

Although, tropical storm Niala will not be make landfall in Hawaii but, will scrape close enough to produce some showers and rough seas along the island. Niala will be having a southwest path, this will make Niala to move away from Hawaii and gradually weaken in the process. Niala became a strong tropical storm on Saturday. The weakening process will begin early this week because of strong wind shear. The moisture associated with this tropical storm will produce heavy showers which will cause flash flooding and mudslides.

Tropical storm Marty heads towards southwest Mexico

Tropical storm Marty formed in the eastern Pacific on Saturday and is expected to threaten southwest Mexico with strong winds and rain during this week. Tropical storm Marty started as a low pressure system about 450 km southwest of Acapulco, Mexico. It strengthened into a tropical depression on Saturday afternoon and then into a tropical storm on Saturday night. This system is over open waters as of now and it remains to be seen that whether it will strengthen further as it has to battle strong wind shear as it moves north towards the southwest coast of Mexico. Since, Marty is moving slowly it might lead to prolonged spell of rain over a given location.
