Flood in Egypt
In Egypt torrential rains lashed the city of Alexandria and caused flooding in the city. This has led to five deaths, including two children and one person who was trapped in his car by the flood waters. Most of the deaths were due to electrocution. The downpour occurred early Sunday morning and quickly flooded several streets. The temperature dropped sharply in several regions of Egypt including Cairo due to heavy rains and strong winds.
This system is likely to affect the Middle East in the next few days.
