Germany was already reeling under cold weather conditions and with more Arctic chill tightening its grip over the country more wintry weather is expected this week.
A fresh storm is expected to show up during sometime in the middle of this week. This storm will bring hefty sum of snowfall and gusty winds will make sure to rattle most of the country.

This spell of snow will rattle places from Stuttgart and Frankfurt to Berlin tomorrow afternoon. This spell of snow with strong winds will cause extremely slippery highways. With roads being volatile, chances of flight delays are very much likely.
Bavaria is expected to receive snowfall during the late afternoon and evening tomorrow when minor weather buildup is expected.
Snowfall coupled with hefty and strong dose of rainfall can be expected across Germany on Thursday as well. The areas that will be most hit is from Rheinland-Palatinate and Saarland into southern Hessen, Baden-Wurttemberg and Bavaria.

These areas will get moderate snowfall during the late afternoon and evening hours. These spells of snowfall will greatest threat for travel disruption across the region.
The wind speed over tomorrow and day after tomorrow across the north is expected to be around 50 km/h (31 mph). Scattered rain and snowfall is expected across Germany on Friday and Saturday as well but by the weekends, widespread travel disruptions aren’t expected.
