A cool and rainy week will probably result in even more unsettled weekend across the United Kingdom.

A lackadaisical storm west of Ireland is likely to bring heavy downpours with isolated pockets receiving torrential rains.

Showers will be most frequent across Northern Ireland, Scotland and South West England on Saturday.

Sunday is expected to be the most uncertain day of the weekend in London as persistent showers may occur in most parts of U.K.

As the storm turns to the west of Ireland, milder air will draw northward across the United Kingdom.

While rain and clouds will keep temperatures from reaching dramatical levels. The temperatures might rise slightly above normal in many locations. Highs of 15-17 °C (59-63 °F) or higher will be common across Wales and England, except in the far north.

During mid-October, the normal high in London is 14.4 °C (58 °F), while Edinburgh has a usual temperature of 12.2 °C (54 °F).

From midday onwards, mostly cloudy skies and brief showers of not less than 30 minutes are expected. A high temperature near 16 °C (61 °F) is anticipated with mild to moderate breeze.

Thick clouds and rainy spells are expected throughout Sunday. There can be a prolonged period of rain.

Temperatures will range from 9 °C (48 °F) in the morning to 15 °C (59 °F) in the afternoon. Southerly winds will range as high as 20 mph (32 km/h).
