A slow moving storm system will affect much of UK with widespread showers through the midweek.
Many places will feel like autumn rather than mid-summer as cool air along with gusty winds will make it nippy at times on both Wednesday and Thursday. Wind gusts of upto 65 kmph are possible along with showers across northern England, Northern Ireland and northern Wales on Wednesday. Widespread gusty showers are expected across Scotland.
Maximum temperatures will go upto 18°C throughout the northern part of UK. While much of Uk will be dealing with showers, much of southern UK will be staying drier and milder on Wednesday. There will be sunny spells throughout the region with maximum temperatures nearing 24°C in Greater London.
Gusty showers will continue to affect Wales, Northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland on Thursday. Wind gust will be close to 50 kmph with temperatures being seasonable cool around 19°C on Thursday.
On Thursday few showers can affect southern England during midday and afternoon hours, however most of the areas will remain dry and most of the showers will last upto 20 minutes. Afternoon temperatures will go upto 22°C across Greater London.
On Friday a high pressure area will build up across UK which will put an end to the recent wet weather.
