In fact, Monday weather also continued to affect major routes in Sharjah as well as Dubai, resulting in delays right from 45 minutes to two hours.
After cloudy weather, rainfall activity today, rains will take a backseat now. However, during the forenoon hours, some rains were seen making an appearance. Exposed areas saw some dust and sand blowing over them.
Sunday saw some rare wintry conditions in Dubai and adjoining areas as light to moderate rains with some sandstorms were seen in many parts of UAE.
Moreover, Global Village which happens to be Dubai's popular family attraction, remained closed on Sunday due to bad weather and only resumed today.
Now, rainfall will remain at bay, but cloudy sky conditions are expected to persist for some time. On February 4, which is Sunday, a drop of six degrees in the day temperatures was observed in some parts. Not only this, today and tomorrow, a further drop of two to three degrees is likely in the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
