It seems like the northwestern part of the Unites States will soon be observing some respite from the scorching summer heat. Northwestern United States will be witnessing a storm that is likely to bring rainfall along with some hail for the part early next week.
These showers are expected to spread in the interiors across the capital city; Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Henceforth, it is likely to spread across the northern Rockies this weekend.
AccuWeather claims that these storms might bring in thundershowers along with small hail activities as well.
Usually, the Northwest suffers a dry July with most of the pockets just witnessing rainy spells of merely 1 inch or even lesser. But this time, the region will observe sufficient rains to produce more than half of the entire month’s average rainfall.
Possibility of snow showers due to cold air at an altitude of 8,000 feet cannot be ruled out as well. Washington and Oregon Cascades, Bitterroots and Yellowstone National Park are mostly the areas affected. Primarily this would affect the mountaineers.
Due to these storms and cool air, the maximum daily will also witness a drop. Roughly the mercury is likely to fall by at least 15 degrees. The maximum mostly which relaxes above 70°F on most days will be settling near 60s.
This cool breeze will bring a relief from heat across the Eastern states. This changing weather will be beneficial mostly for the firefighters winning over the wildfires that are enduring across portions of Idaho and Montana, according to the National Inter-agency Fire Center.
