For residents in United Arab Emirates, the week started on a rainy note. Many parts of the country witnessed rain and thundershowers activity. As per Weathermen, a thunder warning was issued on Saturday night. These thundershowers along with strong winds were observed during night and into the early hours of Sunday morning in many parts.

Scattered rain and thundershowers have affected many areas of the UAE on Sunday morning, ranging from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain, and from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah.

According to Weather forecasters, the weather on Sunday is anticipated to be cloudy across the country with average temperature ranging between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius.

Residents can expect to observe overcast sky with light to moderate rainy spells for the next two days. The winds will be fresh at times, with northeasterly to northwesterly winds that will peak at 21 mph in coastal areas. These winds are likely to blow dust over the exposed areas, causing haze and poor visibility.

Temperatures will remain in the mid-20s until Tuesday, ranging between 14°C and 28°C along the coast, 16°C to 30°C inland and between 12°C and 21°C in the mountains. Sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea and is expected to become rough at times due to the cloud cover.
